New resource: Oxford Reference Online June 7, 2007
The Library now has a subscription to the Oxford Reference Online. Full details of the 114 titles contained in this interdisciplinary referene collection can be found here. It includes:
- Science
- Bilingual dictionaries
- History
- Physical science and mathematics
- English dictionaries and thesauruses
Access is via AthensDA if off-campus or via IP if on campus.
How to find theses June 7, 2007
You can search for both Imperial and other univeristy theses to see what is available on a particular topic.
The Library subscribes to two databases that contain information on dissertations:
Dissertation Abstracts: Contains Ph.D. and M.Sc. theses citations and abstracts
Index to Theses: Theses submitted to UK and Ireland Universities
To find Imperial projects search the Library catalogue e.g. ‘MSc and Science communication and 2005′ will bring up a list of all the projects from 2005.
